PROJECT X GRAPHITE TOUR ISSUE WOOD SHAFT - 7.0 (6A4)
Have a question?
Brand New Project X Tour Issue Graphite Driver Shaft. One of the Hottest shafts on the PGA Tour in 2010.
Project X Graphite Tour Issue, The Project X Tour Issue wood and driver shafts are available in the same specs that are played on tour each week. The driver shaft’s firm tip design yields a penetrating launch and low spin while its low torque and reinforced cross section provide the most stable shaft performance on tour. Project X Tour Issue shafts are only available through a limited number of OEM custom programs and through True Temper’s Performance Fitting Centers. The Project X Graphite Shaft is used by a number of PGA Tour players and has been rumored to either use or have tried the shaft including Bo Van Pelt, Camilo Vegas, David Toms and Jason Gore. The Project X Graphite Wood Shaft is engineered using the Zonal Design Theory or ZDT.
This is a True Temper proprietary technology which divides the shaft into three distinct zones. The Butt, Mid and tip sections make up the three zones, with each optimized for performance using a design technology specific to the zone.
The Butt Section is made up of sectional stability minimizingenergy from a Hex-Axial Reinforcement Technology. This technology ultimately is responsible for minimizing energy loss from "ovalization." Mid Section is designed for even loading and unloading for maximum energy transfer. The Tip Section is Elongated for a firmer tip which minimizes Droop and Lag and reduces spin.
The new Project X driver shaft has a similar bend profile to Project X iron shafts. The driver shaft’s firm tip design yields a penetrating launch and low spin while its low torque and reinforced cross section provide the most stable shaft performance on tour.

Light weight and strength have been mutually exclusive. Reducing the weight of steel has lowered its strength, increased the likelihood of breakage and reduced the pliability required to make dynamic shots. Two years ago, however, we committed ourselves to solving this dilemma by developing a new type of steel. Even...
The N.S. PRO Zelos 8 employs newly developed, cutting-edge, high-intensity NZNS60 material that outperforms all other patented materials used in N.S PRO competitors’ steel shafts. In fact, it delivers the smooth control and performance of high-carbon material. The superior performance of its newly developed material contributes to a more stable...
Based on Nippon masterpiece N.S.PRO WV, which was designed exclusively for wedges and thoroughly refined for operational ease, as well as feedback from PGA tour players, Nippon Shaft crafted a new steel shaft for wedges that offers first class short game performance. N.S.PRO’s proprietary wall thickness adjustment technology contributes to...
ZELOS 6 was created in pursuit of a lighter, stronger, more tenacious steel shaft that would satisfy for a lifetime. The remarkable light weight was achieved by combining Nippon state-of-the-art matching technology with NZNS 60, an original ZELOS material. This combination preserves the unique trajectory and stable direction of steel...
The N.S. PRO Modus³ series shafts are popular with touring pros because they offer optimal performance in the three key areas: Desired trajectory as a result of the unique structure of a stiff tip section and softer mid section. Accurate distances due to the unique raw steel material and accompanying...
